Sound familiar?

Are you stuck here?

Another performance conversation that started too late, with expectations that were never clear enough to begin with.

Your managers know something is wrong. They just do not have the confidence or the knowledge to do anything about it. So it lands on you.

You are spending more time managing employment fires than doing anything else. Work is starting to feel less meaningful.

You are experienced enough to handle it. You are just not always sure you are handling it correctly. That uncertainty is exhausting.

This is what the workshop fixes.

What you get

Not a seminar.
A working session.

Every in-house workshop is built around the situations your team actually faces. Practical and finished when your people know exactly what to do next time. You leave knowing you got it right.

Tailored to your team

Before the workshop, Sanam learns what your team is actually dealing with. The session is built around those scenarios.

Plain English

The law explained in language your managers will actually remember and use on Monday. No legalese. No wasted time.

A process for Monday

Your team leaves with a process they can use immediately. Not a document that sits in a folder nobody opens.

What we cover

Whatever your team is actually dealing with.

Performance issues Disciplinary processes Restructures Medical incapacity Terminations Setting expectations Difficult conversations Employment law essentials 90-day trial periods Redundancy Workplace investigations

No two workshops look the same. Sanam builds the session around what your team is actually dealing with. You bring the situations. She brings the answers.

A workshop your team will actually remember

What is the biggest challenge facing your team right now?

Tell Sanam what your team is dealing with. She will build something around it.

Honestly I was not sure how our managers would take it. They are not big on training days. But they were asking questions the whole way through and one of them emailed me that night to say it finally clicked.

Who is in the room

Fair warning. I will make employment law interesting.

Expect plain English, real scenarios, and the kind of delivery that means your managers are still talking about it weeks later. I’m a practising employment lawyer admitted in both New Zealand and Australia. I built Law Lenz because I kept watching good teams make avoidable mistakes. Now I get in the room and make sure it doesn’t happen to yours.

Why Law Lenz

Training that actually sticks.

01
A practising lawyer who understands your world

Sanam has spent years working in-house. She is not just a lawyer who knows the legislation. She understands the pressure you are under because she has sat where you sit.

02
Built around what your team actually faces

Real scenarios drawn from your actual workplace. Not a room full of strangers with different problems. The session is built around what your team deals with so the learning transfers when it matters.

03
Engaging enough that people remember it

10,000 people have listened to Sanam bring humour and fun to employment law. That same energy is in the room. Employment law does not have to be dry. It never is here.

Generic content is a waste
of everyone's time.

When training is built around your team's real situations, it sticks. Your managers leave knowing what to do next time something lands in their DMs.

I sat through an employment law seminar last year and wanted to fall asleep. This was nothing like that. I actually texted my manager during the break.

Still have questions?

Here are our
workshop FAQs.

Get in touch and describe what is happening in your business right now. Sanam will tell you whether a workshop is the right fit and what topic would be most useful. If something else would serve you better, she will say so.
Yes. Online workshops work just as well for remote teams and are just as interactive as in-person. In-person workshops are available throughout New Zealand.
Half-day workshops cover one topic in depth. Typically the process, the common mistakes, and real scenarios. Full-day workshops cover more ground and include time to work through specific situations your team is facing right now.
Workshops work for teams of any size. The format adjusts depending on numbers. Smaller groups allow for more scenario-based work and specific questions, larger groups are structured accordingly. Get in touch and we will work out what suits your team best.
It depends on your team size, format, and whether it is in-person or online. The best starting point is a quick conversation. Sanam will give you a straight answer on what it looks like for your specific situation.
HR professionals are skilled at people management. Employment law is a specialist layer that sits alongside that, not inside it. HR professionals find these workshops just as valuable as the managers in the room.
A half-day is four hours. The time you spend now is a fraction of what it costs to fix it later.
